Paul has over 25 years of experience in Banking & Real Estate Capital Markets, the last 20 of which have been spent in the US. Having worked with Anglo Irish Bank in Dublin in the 1990’s, Paul relocated to Boston in 2000 to help greenfield the launch of the Bank’s US business.
In 2004 he relocated to New York to establish a real estate platform where he built a team of 40 professionals and originated over $8bn of senior and junior loans. Following the market downturn, his focus shifted to asset management and workout, an effort he lead on behalf of the North American business. In 2011 he helped initiate and manage the successful sale of the $10bn loan book. More recently, Paul ran the US business for a European Family Office making equity investments in luxury high street retail where he oversaw over $1bn of acquisitions, recapitalizations and sales.
