James started his banking career at Anglo Irish Bank where he worked in the UK Lending Division, specializing in Hotel & Leisure transactions before becoming a Portfolio Manager on the European Lending team.
During this time he was responsible for a £1BN commercial loan book across all property sectors in 11 European countries. After the downturn, his focus shifted towards Recovery and Workout where he oversaw more than £250MM or repayments to the Bank’s balance sheet. James is primarily focused on underwriting, debt structuring and credit risk analysis.
