John has over 20-years experience in UK Commercial Real Estate Finance and Asset Management, in both debt and equity positions. John has a diverse background of Senior and Mezzanine Debt Origination, Risk Management, Underwriting and Loan Structuring, having originated and managed investment and development loans in excess of £1BN across all real estate sectors.
Prior to joining Earlsfort Capital, John spent 3 years as a key advisor to the Family Office of a multi billionaire Investor as the Head of Banking and Real Estate Finance, successfully sourcing, negotiating and closing over £1BN of debt in support of the Group’s £2BN expansion into UK Real Estate investment, and enhancing the operational effectiveness and asset management strategies in several of the Group’s private operating companies. John is a highly experienced commercial real estate finance and asset management professional with outstanding execution, communication and relationship skills. He has a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics Degree from the University of Natal, South Africa.
